DESCRIPTION:The installation Cut Tongue addresses a scarred and neglected water landscape: the mouth of the Viskan River in the Kloster Fjord.\nIt recreates the memory of the place while simultaneously being an act of care. Now My Sails are on Fire also concerns memory\, as well as mourning and loss. With the help of the stone labyrinth on the Onsala peninsula\, historical drama is interwoven with personal experience of trauma. These two exhibitions are presented in collaboration with Art Inside Out.

DESCRIPTION:Beneath the surface lurks the unseen and the hidden\, something latent waiting and biding its time – under the surface both of the water and of the human mind. Through installations and video art\, this exhibition explores our relationship to the unknown and immerses us in the feeling of what lies Beneath the surface. Contributing artists: Sebastian Blomqvist\, Kristina Frank\, Tilda Lovell\, Helena Wikström and Anita Wohlén.

SUMMARY:Fish & Ships – A Cultural Historical Deep Dive in Halland Waters
DESCRIPTION:In Tobias Dahlin’s films and still photos of Halland’s sea and lakes\, an unexplored\, beautiful and enchanted underwater world opens up in fantastical colours. In the depths lurk traces of danger and threat\, such as ships wrecked by storm\, discarded trash\, and abandoned fishing gear (ghost fishing). The exhibition also tells of cultural historical connections between the people of Halland and the water.
