Lennart Alves is a photographer with a particular interest in how the human world meets the sea. He weaves for us a story in which the unwanted becomes sublime, the sea becomes a stage, and mankind’s traces become subjects of their own.

Rethinking the Little Mermaid is Kolbrún Inga Söring’s first solo exhibition in Sweden. Söring’s art explores body modification, desire and self-representation outside of cis-heteronormativity. Through their reinterpretation of H. C. Andersen’s fairy tale The Little Mermaid, the artist takes a broader view that includes multiple perspectives.
